  • The Girls Go Circular initiative required a robust digital learning solution to support its mission of equipping young women with essential digital skills. To ensure the project was built on a solid foundation, we conducted a comprehensive market analysis aimed at identifying the most suitable existing platforms while also assessing the feasibility of developing a new solution if necessary. This process involved defining the key technical and functional requirements through close collaboration with stakeholders, followed by an in-depth evaluation of more than 100 Learning Management Systems (LMS). Using a structured approach, we developed a detailed requirements catalog with 243 evaluation criteria, allowing us to systematically assess the platforms based on their functionality, usability, scalability, and cost.

From this extensive analysis, we identified six promising solutions and set up test instances to validate their capabilities in a real-world educational context. Each system was tested against key pedagogical and technical benchmarks to determine its suitability for the initiative. Our final report provided a clear, data-driven recommendation on the best approach for platform selection and hosting, giving the project team a well-informed foundation for the next phase of implementation.
