Since November 2023, Brainshuttle has been commissioned by EIT Urban Mobility to collaborate on the EIT Campus project, an innovative online platform that centralises access to hundreds of courses from various EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs). This comprehensive portal caters to students, researchers, engineers, business developers, and entrepreneurs, enhancing the visibility and accessibility of specialised educational opportunities.
Brainshuttle’s project aims to create a theory-based, ready-to-use framework that integrates individual courses into cohesive Learning Pathways, providing a more structured and guided learning experience. This ongoing effort aims to enhance the EIT Campus platform by providing users with structured, skill-oriented learning experiences, ensuring they remain competitive in today's fast-evolving job market.
The project involves a dedicated team comprising a Project Manager and Instructional Designer offering services in learning and development strategy, education technology, and curriculum conceptualisation. Key activities include researching scientific literature on learning pathways, analysing the EIT Campus platform and its extensive course library, and conceptualising the framework design approach. This includes developing a comprehensive skill database and writing the learning pathways framework.
Additionally, the team has been tasked with creating four example Learning Pathways using the newly developed framework. These pathways serve as models to demonstrate how the framework can effectively curate courses from various KICs, offering a structured learning journey tailored to labour market needs.
